Meet the Staff of the OMC Drug and Alcohol Rehab Recovery Mission
Kevin Shelton - Our Master's Camp Director
Brother Kevin Shelton became a Marine & served our country until 1997. He married in 2002. In 2004 he was saved when God showed that he, his wife and kids were lost, and that he was not being the husband and father that he needed to be. Not long after this God called Kevin to preach in 2005. Kevin took every opportunity to share God's promises. He preached at Whitfield County YDC, nursing homes, restaurants, churches, homeless shelters, and also had a radio ministry from 2005-2008. He taught teenage Sunday school classes and worked with youth during this time also.
Kevin volunteered with Providence Ministries preaching and visiting with the men in the Christian drug and alcohol recovery ministry Of Providence Ministries in Dalton Georgia. He and his wife were hired full-time as house parents in the Providence Ministries Rocky Face Boys Home. Kevin was also pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church. Kevin now serves as director of Our Masters Camp, an intensive Christian recovery center operated by Providence Ministries.
Kevin loves helping others and spending one-on-one time with the O.M.C. clients.

Danny Parker - Program Counselor CAC II, CCS
Danny works in all phases of recovery including the 12 step matrix workbook, anger management counseling, personal / situational counseling and process groups. Danny is a native of Dalton, GA, Certified Addiction Counselor II and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. Prior to joining the Providence Ministries Staff in August 2005, Danny served as a Counselor at Christian Love Ministries in Murphy N.C. for five years. He was employed with Georgia Highlands (Highland Rivers) for eight years. He has been clean and sober since September 1994. Danny has a passion for the recovering community. His experience and God's call makes Danny an asset to the "Our Masters Camp" in Middle TN, 12 Step Christian Recovery Center Program.

Rick Taylor - Program Counselor BA, MA
Rick Taylor is a native of Southeast Tennessee. He graduated from Tennessee Temple College in 1978 [BA Psychology] and from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1981[ Master of Education In Counseling]. He has worked in various roles and settings [inpatient, residential, outpatient] in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field since 1981. He is licensed and certiified nationally and in Tennesse, Georgia and North Carolina as a provider of mental health and substance abuse treatment services. He and his wife, Sally, currently reside in Nothwest Georgia and are members at the Oakwood Baptisrt Church in Chickamauga, Georgia. They have two adult daughters and one granddaughter.
Dr. Les Warren - Honored Guest Speaker
Dr. Les Warren was born in Corpus Christie, TX and raised in a Christian home. He was saved at the age of seven under the preaching of Lester Roloff and baptized in the Second Baptist Church. While pursuing an engineering career, he answered the call to the Gospel ministry. His educational training consists of a B. A degree at Tennessee Temple College; M.RE at Temple Baptist Theological Seminary; M.A.BS at Dallas Theological Seminary and a D. Min. at Luther Rice Seminary.
Dr. & Mrs. Warren both served almost 20 years with Bluewater Bible College, St. Thomas (1963-1982) in both faculty and administrative positions. He was the associate pastor (1964-1977) and pastor (1977-1981) of Calvary Baptist Church, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. During his pastorate the church moved to it's present location.
Upon returing to the U.S. he was professor of Bible Studies at Luther Rice Seminary, Jacksonville, FL (1990-2003). While in Florida he held several church positions in various churches, the last being pastor of Colonial Baptist Church (1993-2003).
Since moving to Tennessee in 2003, Biblical Insights Ministry was fully organized to provide assistance to small churches in the U.S. and overseas. This is done through Bible Conferences, revivals, training seminars, church literature and workshops. This is provided with little or no cost to the churches.
Reverend Roy & Pat Johnson Founders
Rev. Roy & Pat Johnson have over 25 years of experience in Christian ministry. They established a pro-life pregnancy center in 1985 that has served over 20,000 girls and women. They opened a shelter for homeless men in 1985 in Dalton, Georgia, which later developed into a drug and alcohol recovery program for those with substance abuse issues. There is also a second men's shelter in Calhoun, Georgia. They have opened two boys' homes, licensed with the State of Georgia, that works with children assigned by the Department of Family and Children Services or the Department of Juvenile Justice.
The ministry now has three thrift stores located in Dalton, Calhoun and Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. The ministry's headquarters is located in a working mission in Dalton, Georgia. Our Master's Camp is the newest addition to the ministry, providing a recovery program for the addicted on a beautiful private rural farm.
Brother Roy & Ms. Pat have three children and five grandchildren.
