The Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program at Our Master's Camp requires a commitment of twelve weeks. One may extend his stay to 120 or even 180 days. The twelve week program is divided into three phases:
Orientation - The first week will involve an intake procedure that identifies pertinent physical, social and psychological/spiritual issues. An individual recovery plan will be developed for each participant that focuses on these areas of concern.
Regeneration - The next eleven weeks will involve the participant in individual and group counseling, classroom teaching, homework, Bible study, church attendance, Christian 12-step meetings, a work program and physical activities. These events are designed to address the physical, social and psychological/spiritual aspects of the recovering addict.
It must be emphasized that Our Master's Camp's Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program is a faith-based approach that will aid only those who are willing to change. The individual will receive the tools and assistance that he needs to begin a new life, but ultimately the decision to begin a new life resides with him alone.
Aspects of the program includes: Personal Recovery Plan, Recovery Curriculum, Church Attendance and Bible Studies.
Personal Recovery Plan
Addiction to chemical substances disrupts all facets of a person's life: the physical body, the psychological and spiritual self and social relations. All of these areas require attention in the process of recovery. The discipleship approach at Our Master's Camp engages participants in studies, activities and relationships designed to aid in the re-creation of each of these areas. The following segments of the program facilitate these changes and are incorporated into a personal recovery plan:
Assessment Individual counseling Group counseling Peer counseling Relapse prevention education Drug testing
Recovery Curriculum and Activities

Church Attendance and Bible Studies
As the Holy Bible is the basic text of the Recovery Program (and the Mission in general for that matter), much time is devoted to studying and understanding Holy Scripture in a series of courses that are offered during the program.
